Spring is finally here, bringing blooming flowers, gentle breezes, and a bit more humidity in the air. While it’s not as harsh as winter or as hot as summer, spring comes with its own unique set of conditions that can affect the look and feel of your raw human hair wig.
At Wigs By Doctor A, we want your wig to stay soft, manageable, and beautiful all season long. As temperatures rise slightly and moisture returns to the air, your wig may experience frizz or slight swelling—especially if it’s curly or textured. To combat this, use a light leave-in conditioner or a humidity-resistant serum to keep flyaways under control and maintain definition.
Springtime showers are common, so if you’re wearing your wig out, it’s a good idea to carry a satin-lined hood or umbrella to avoid sudden moisture exposure, especially on styled units. Wet conditions without proper care can lead to tangling or loss of curl pattern.
It’s also the perfect season to wash and refresh your wig if it’s been in heavy rotation. Use a sulfate-free shampoo, follow up with deep conditioning, and let it air dry on a wig stand for best results.
As always, store your wig in a satin bag or on a stand to prevent dust buildup and frizz.
